Where can I download Swingdo?

You can download Swingdo on the iTunes App Store.

What devices and OS does Swingdo work with?

Swingmail works with iOS8 or above and on the following devices iPhone5, 5s, 6, 6 plus, 6S, 6S plus. iPhone 5s or above is recommended for optimal performance. An iPad version will be released in the future.

What email addresses can I use with Swingdo?

Swingmail works with iCloud, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo,Yahoo! Japan, docomo(@docomo.ne.jp), SoftBank(@i.softbank.jp), and KDDI EZweb(@ezweb.ne.jp) services.

Can I turn on or off the location setting in Swingdo?

Yes.
To change your location settings for Swingdo go to iPhone settings > Privacy > Location > Swingdo and set the location data setting to on or off.

How is the order of the items on my Swingdo timeline set?

Items are automatically scheduled based on deadlines, time allocated, scheduled events and available work time. The goal is to reduce the amount of manual work the user has to do. Consequently the order is not manually alterable. The more you use it the more accurate it will become with scheduling as it will learn the patterns in which you do things.

Can I add new calendar events in Swingdo? Are events editable in Swingdo?

At this point new events and the editing of old events is not possible. These functions will be added on later versions.

Is Swingdo available on PC or other devices?

A Swingdo Chrome extension is scheduled for release in Febuary or March 2016. We will announce this on Social Media.

What is the difference between Done and Delete?

Done todos are kept in memory and can be returned to the todo list. Deleted todos are deleted completly from the app.

What are the required fields for a new todo?

Title, Time allocation are required for a new todo. Time allocation is defaulted to 15 mins, so just a title will infact also work.

What type of mails will appear in Swingdo?

Mails from important contacts that have not been replied to will appear. This way the user will not miss or forget to reply to important mail.

Can I use Emoji?

If your Emoji keyboard setting is on, you can use Emoji.

Can I add attachments to mails?

You can not add attachements to mails in Swingdo.

Will mail sent or received in Swingdo also be reflected in my original email or twitter account?

Yes.
Mail sent or received in Swingdo is also reflected in the original email accounts.

I have several accounts tied to my Gmail account, can I also use them in Swingdo?

Yes.
You will receive the same mails that you will see in Gmail. When sending mail you can change the address from which you are sending, just like with Gmail.
If you have email accounts which are not covered by Swingmail, you can tie them to a Gmail account and still see them in Swingmail.

Can I use Swingmail on multiple devices?

Swingdo has frozen and is unresponsive. What should I do?

  1. Double tap on the iPhone home button and close Swingmail down.
  2. Try logging in again.
    If this does not solve the problem please let us know on support@swingmail.co

What is the relationship between Swingmail and Swingdo?

Both are apps in the Swingapp series. Swingmail gives you your past communication and your contacts and Swingdo shows you what you have to do coming up in the future. You can create todos directly from Swingmail for Swingdo and manage your todos and time more effectively. Improving the interaction and functionality of the two apps is a strong focus going forward.

I am having difficulty logging in with iCloud credentials.

Please check the following.
  1. iCloud addresses and passwords are case sensitive please make sure both are correct.
  2. “@icloud.com”, “@me.com”, “@mac.com” are the only iCloud addresses that work in Swingmail / Swingdo. If you use and Apple ID which has another type of email address, you need to login with one of your individual iCloud addresses and password not with your Apple ID address. If this does not solve the problem please let us know on support@swingmail.co

How do I create a “app specific password” for my iCloud account to use Swingmail?

  1. Login to your iCloud account.
    https://appleid.apple.com/account/home
  2. Click on Security.
  3. Click on App Specific Password.
  4. Create a password.
  5. Go back to Swingmail and login with this App Specific Password.
